Burn Awareness Week (February 2-8, 2025)

February 2-8, 2025, is recognized as National Burn Awareness Week, a time set aside each year for organizations and educators to unite in sharing a common burn awareness and prevention message.

The Firefighters’ Burn Fund, Manitoba Association of Fire Chiefs and the Provincial Government, Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner are once again holding a Burn Awareness Week Poster Contest for kids in Grades 5 – 8.

All entries must be postmarked no later than Friday, March 28, 2025, and winners will be notified after April 25, 2025.
