Universal Human Rights Month (December 2024)

A group of hands raised up with text that reads "Universal Human Rights Month - December"

Universal Human Rights Month is celebrated every December to recognize the importance of basic human rights that every individual is entitled to. It is a month dedicated to promoting and protecting human rights for all people, regardless of their race, gender, nationality, religion, or any other status.

During Universal Human Rights Month, individuals and organizations around the world come together to raise awareness about human rights and advocate for the protection of these rights.

This month provides an opportunity to reflect on the progress that has been made in advancing human rights, as well as the work that still needs to be done. It is a time to recognize the importance of equality, justice, and freedom, and to support efforts to ensure that these values are upheld for all people.
