No Stone Left Alone (November 5, 2024)

Illustration of a poppy flower on a white background with text that reads “No Stone Left Alone, Tuesday, November 5, 2024, Brandon cemetery Cenotaph (18th Street South)”

The annual No Stone Left Alone ceremony will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 10:00 am, at the City of Brandon Cemetery Cenotaph (18th Street South).  Approximately 1,000 students, veterans, and serving Canadian Armed Forces Members and other guests are expected to be in attendance.

Participating in the No Stone Left Alone program allows students to experience Remembrance Day in a unique and authentic way.  This not only increases their knowledge of the role Canadian Soldiers played in historic World Wars, but also raises awareness of the sacrifices our military has made and continues to make today.

The Act of Remembrance

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
 Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
 At the going down of the sun and in the morning
 We will remember them.
We will remember them.
