The National Day of Action for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S) on October 4, 2024, is a significant day dedicated to raising awareness and advocating for Indigenous communities.

This day serves as a powerful reminder of the ongoing issues faced by Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people across North America. It is a call to both recognize the historical and systemic issues that contribute to this crisis and to take concrete steps to address and prevent further violence.

Our hearts are with our community members and families that are grieving the loss of mothers, sisters, daughters, kokum’s, aunties, cousins, and friends.
