Science Literacy Week (October 4-11, 2026)

Science Literacy Week is a national celebration of curiosity, discovery and the science we encounter in our everyday lives.

This year’s theme, Curiosity Unleashed, encourages Canadians to explore, ask questions, try new ideas and look at the world in new ways. Science Literacy Week brings together educators, science centres and STEM learning organizations from across the country to inspire interest in science and encourage lifelong learning.
