Rock Your Mocs is a worldwide movement that celebrates Indigenous identity, culture and traditions through the wearing of moccasins. Rock Your Mocs Day takes place each year on November 15, with celebrations extending throughout Rock Your Mocs Week, November 8–15, 2026. The week gives schools, workplaces, organizations and communities more opportunities to participate and celebrate together.

Why a week?

While November 15 remains Rock Your Mocs Day worldwide, expanding the celebration to a full week provides more opportunities for people, schools and workplaces to take part.

Where can you participate?

Anywhere! Whether you are at home, at school, at work or out in the community, you can take part wherever your day takes you.

How can you join in?

Everyone is welcome to participate. You can choose one day, several days or the entire week.

Wear your moccasins, something turquoise, the colours of the medicine wheel, or a ribbon skirt or ribbon shirt. Most importantly, take the opportunity to celebrate, share, listen and learn about Indigenous cultures and traditions.
