Mental Illness Awareness Week (October 4-10, 2026)
Mental Illness Awareness Week takes place October 4–10, 2026. It is an opportunity to raise awareness, reduce stigma and encourage conversations about mental health and mental illness.
Schools and workplaces can help create supportive environments where people feel comfortable seeking help and connecting with available resources.
Visit Student Wellness & Safety Resources (bsd.ca) to access a range of resources and supports to help with student wellness and safety. If you or someone you know needs immediate assistance, please reach out to a parent, teacher or another trusted adult, or call 911.
If you have questions about wellness and safety for students in Brandon School Division, please contact your child’s school directly or email us at info@bsd.ca.
