In follow-up to our previous communication regarding the heating coil burst at Betty Gibson School, we can confirm that the school will be open as scheduled on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.

Due to an unexpected heating coil burst over the weekend, several offices and classrooms on the south side of the building sustained water damage. As a result, Betty Gibson School will be closed on Monday, December 15, 2025.

We anticipate that the issue will be resolved quickly, allowing classes to resume on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Should this change, we will notify you at our earliest opportunity.

We appreciate your understanding as we address this issue and work to ensure a safe learning environment for everyone.
