Human Rights Day (December 10, 2025)

Human Rights Day is observed on December 10th of each year, marking the anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The Declaration states that each person is entitled to fundamental rights, including the right to equality, and the right to life, liberty and security of the person. It also recognizes the right to freedom of religion and speech and the right to participate in the cultural life of the community.

This document is a milestone in the history of human rights as it outlines the fundamental rights and freedoms that every person is entitled to, regardless of race, gender, religion or any other status.
