BSD’s Raven Willoughby Recognized as Manitoba Indigenous Educator of the Month

Brandon School Division is proud to share that Raven Willoughby, Indigenous Education Learning Specialist, has been recognized as Manitoba’s Indigenous Educator of the Month for May 2026 by Manitoba Education and Early Childhood Learning’s Indigenous Excellence initiative.  

A Red River Métis Educator, Raven supports students and staff across 24 BSD schools through Indigenous Education Programming, professional learning opportunities, and community partnerships. Her work focuses on building meaningful connections with Knowledge Carriers and creating authentic learning experiences that support Indigenous student success and belonging.
