World Social Work Day is observed every year on the third Tuesday in March, serving as a global platform to recognize and appreciate the invaluable contributions of social workers worldwide. This day highlights the essential role social workers play in advocating for the well-being of individuals and communities.
Within our BSD Schools, social workers are an integral part of a dedicated team focused on addressing the diverse needs of students, families, and school personnel. They collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive educational environments where every student can thrive.
By providing individual and group counseling, developing intervention strategies, and facilitating access to community resources, social workers help ensure that all students receive the support they need to succeed academically and personally.
