Brandon School Division Senior Administration is pleased to announce the following Principal and Vice Principal appointments effective September 6, 2022:
Ms. MacFarlane has been working on behalf of students in Brandon School Division since 1993, and her experience includes K-8, Resource as well as Vice Principal at King George School. Ms. MacFarlane has been Acting Principal of Prairie Hope High School since September 2020. |
Mr. Marty Jordan has been appointed Principal of J.R. Reid School Mr. Jordan has been working in school leadership in Brandon School Division for the past 12 years, as Vice Principal of Riverheights School, Meadows School, and Earl Oxford School. Mr. Jordan has been Acting Principal of J.R. Reid School since September 2020. |
Ms. Sherry Baker has been appointed Principal of École O’Kelly School Ms. Baker has been working on behalf of students in Brandon School Division for 14 years in the roles of Classroom Teacher, Resource Teacher, and Vice Principal of George Fitton School. Ms. Baker has been Acting Principal of École O’Kelly School since July 2021. |
Mme. Eberts has been working on behalf of students in Brandon School Division for the past 21 years in the roles of Classroom Teacher, French Language Specialist, and Vice Principal of École New Era School. Mme. Eberts has been Acting Principal of École Harrison since July 2021. |
Mr. Ashley Dyson has been appointed Vice Principal of Vincent Massey High School Mr. Dyson began his teaching career in 2000 at Souris School, teaching Math and Science. In 2010, he joined the Brandon School Division as a Chemistry Teacher at Vincent Massey High School. Mr. Dyson has been Acting Vice Principal of Vincent Massey High School since September 2020. |
Mr. Malcolm Oldcorn has been appointed Vice Principal of Waverly Park School Mr. Oldcorn has been working on behalf of students in Brandon School Division for 11 years, and has experience as a Classroom Teacher, Physical Education Teacher, Continuous Improvement Coach, English as an Additional Language Teacher, Teacher Librarian, and Counsellor. Mr. Oldcorn has been Acting Vice Principal of Waverly Park School since July 2021. |
Ms. Tillie has been working on behalf of students in Brandon School Division for the past 18 years, and has experience as a Classroom Teacher, Continuous Improvement Coach, Teacher Librarian, Numeracy Coach, Reading Recovery Teacher, English as an Additional Language Teacher, and Literacy Support Teacher. Ms. Tillie has been Acting Vice Principal of Maryland Park School since July 2021. |
Mrs. Jodi Smart has been appointed Vice Principal of École New Era School Mrs. Smart has worked on behalf of students in Brandon School Division for 12 years, and has experience as Resource Teacher, Numeracy Support Teacher, and Classroom Teacher. Mrs. Smart has been Acting Vice Principal of École New Era School since July 2021. |
Mrs. Vogel has worked on behalf of students in Brandon School Division for the past 11 years, and has experience as Classroom Teacher, Response to Intervention Teacher, and Life Skills Teacher, and has been Acting Vice Principal of Betty Gibson School since July 2021. |
Mr. Robert Dinsdale has been appointed Vice Principal of George Fitton School Mr. Dinsdale has worked on behalf of students in Brandon School Division for the past 11 years and has experience as Continuous Improvement Coach and Classroom Teacher. He has been Acting Vice Principal of George Fitton School since July 2021. |
Mr. Brent Tocher has been appointed Vice Principal of Kirkcaldy Heights School Mr. Tocher has worked on behalf of students in Brandon School Division for 22 years, and has experience as Counsellor, Classroom Teacher, English as an Additional Language Teacher, and Acting Vice Principal of Riverheights School. He has been Acting Vice Principal of Kirkcaldy Heights School since July 2021. |
Mr. Brown has worked on behalf of students in Brandon School Division for 15 years, including seven years as Vice Principal of Vincent Massey High School and eight years as Vice Principal of Crocus Plains Regional Secondary School. |
