2026-2027 Vice Principal Appointments

Brandon School Division Senior Administration is pleased to announce the following Vice Principal appointments for the 2026-2027 School Year: 


Ms. Cally Brown – Vice Principal of École secondaire Neelin High School 

Ms. Cally Brown has been working in education for the past 10 years as a Classroom Teacher and has demonstrated leadership through her involvement in divisional and student behaviour initiatives, including Response to Intervention.

Ms. Brown’s education includes a Master of Education in Curriculum and Pedagogy.

Throughout her career, Ms. Brown has consistently demonstrated exceptional communication skills and strong leadership abilities. She has also demonstrated effective leadership while serving as Acting Principal in the absence of the administration at her previous school division.

Cally Brown – Vice Principal of École secondaire Neelin High School (effective September 2026)

Ms. Amanda Burtnack – Vice Principal of Earl Oxford School 

Ms. Amanda Burtnack has been working in education for the past 10 years, including five years as an early years Classroom Teacher and five years in varied roles as a Counsellor, Resource Teacher, Reading Recovery Teacher, Continuous Improvement Coach, and Head Teacher.

Ms. Burtnack’s education includes a Master of Education in Administration and a Master of Education in Guidance and Counselling.

Throughout her career, Ms. Burtnack has demonstrated strong leadership and a deep commitment to student and staff growth. She has actively participated in and contributed to school and divisional initiatives, including the Manitoba Association of School Superintendents Field Led Leadership Course, Mamàhtawisiwin – Applying the Indigenous Education Policy Framework to the Classroom, Assessment of Risk to Others, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention.

Amanda Burtnack – Vice Principal of Earl Oxford School (effective September 2026)

Ms. Stephanie Innes – Vice Principal of Waverly Park School 

Ms. Stephanie Innes has been working in education for the past nine years as an Early Years Classroom Teacher and Resource Teacher.

Ms. Innes’ education includes a Master of Education in Inclusive Education (in progress).

Throughout her career, Ms. Innes has demonstrated strong leadership in both classroom and resource roles. She has actively participated in school and divisional initiatives, including Violence Threat Risk Assessment/Assessment of Risk to Others, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, and Vision of the Numerate Learner. She also has experience and demonstrated leadership in staff development, consistently supporting colleagues in professional growth.

Stephanie Innes – Vice Principal of Waverly Park School (effective September 2026)

Mrs. Kristy Agnew – Vice Principal of Kirkcaldy Heights School 

Mrs. Agnew has 19 years of experience in education, beginning her career overseas in Kuwait. She has spent the past 16 years with the Brandon School Division in roles including Classroom Teacher, Reading Recovery, Literacy Support, Teacher Librarian, Resource Teacher, and most recently serving as Acting Vice Principal at Kirkcaldy Heights School.

Mrs. Agnew’s education includes a Master of Education in Administration.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Agnew has demonstrated strong leadership and a deep commitment to student success. She has actively participated in school and divisional initiatives, including the Manitoba Association of School Superintendents Field Led Leadership Course, The Art & Science of Generative Communication Skills, Train the Trainer: Supporting Appropriate Educational Programming in Schools, School Leadership and Intervention Team, and Violence Threat Risk Assessment.

Kristy Agnew – Vice Principal of Kirkcaldy Heights School (effective September 2026)

Ms. Kiera Dyck – Vice Principal of Linden Lanes School 

Ms. Kiera Dyck has been working in education for the past 12 years as a Middle Years Classroom Teacher, including the last six years as a Continuous Improvement Coach and three years as a Head Teacher.

Ms. Dyck’s education includes a Master of Education in Administration (in progress).

Throughout her career, Ms. Dyck has demonstrated strong instructional leadership and a commitment to school improvement. She has actively participated in and contributed to school and divisional initiatives, including the Manitoba Association of School Superintendents Field Led Leadership Course, Divisional Professional Learning Facilitator, Divisional Impact Rounds presenter, and BSD Liaison for the Provincial Framework for Learning.

Kiera Dyck – Vice Principal of Linden Lanes School (effective September 2026)

Mr. Malcolm Oldcorn – Vice Principal of Meadows School 

Mr. Malcolm Oldcorn has been working in education for the past 11 years in roles including Counsellor, Continuous Improvement Coach, and most recently serving as Vice Principal at École secondaire Neelin High School.

Mr. Oldcorn’s education includes a Master of Education in Guidance and Counselling.

Throughout his career, Mr. Oldcorn has demonstrated strong communication skills and a clear focus on building a positive school culture. He has actively participated in and provided leadership within school and divisional initiatives, including School Leadership Team, Violence Threat Risk Assessment, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training.
