2026-2027 Application Process: French Immersion Kindergarten Registration

In 2016, the Board of Trustees passed Motion #05/2016, which states that registration for high-demand programs, such as French Immersion Kindergarten Registration, be completed by random selection. As such, a random selection process continues to be used for all French Immersion Kindergarten Registrations.

For the 2026-2027 School Year, please note the following important details: 

• The application period for Brandon School Division French Immersion Kindergarten Registration opens on Monday, January 19, 2026, and closes on Friday, January 30, 2026. 
• Applications may be submitted electronically online, or by paper in person to the Office of the Superintendent, Brandon School Division, 1031 – 6^th Street, Brandon, MB R7A 4K5.  
• Multiple children from the same immediate family must be submitted in the same application package.
• Following the close of the application period on Friday, January 30, 2026, applications will be reviewed and processed as outlined in the respective registration process documents and communicated to parents through the respective schools.
