Winter Weather Information

header

Winter can be a lot of fun, but it's important to stay safe as well! Here are some tips to help you stay safe during the colder months:

  • Dress appropriately: Wear warm clothing, including a coat, hat, gloves, and boots. Dress in layers so you can adjust your warmth as needed.
  • Stay dry: Wet clothing can lead to hypothermia, so make sure to stay dry. Bring an extra set of clothes in case you get wet.
  • Be careful on ice: Walk slowly and carefully on icy surfaces.
  • Stay visible: When it gets dark early, it's important to wear reflective clothing or carry a flashlight so that drivers can see you.
  • Listen to your body: If you start to feel cold, go inside and warm up. Hypothermia can set in quickly, so don't ignore the signs.

Remember, staying safe is the most important thing when it comes to enjoying winter weather. So bundle up, take it slow, and have fun!
