Viking Classic!

Vincent Massey High School is proud to be hosting our Annual Viking Classic Volleyball tournament! This year will be a memorable event as it marks our 50th annual tournament. After years of COVID interruptions and in honor of the momentous tradition we are excited to make this year's event one to remember. 

Throughout the years, roughly 8000 athletes have played in this event. The Viking Classic is woven into the fabric of the Vincent Massey school community. Coinciding with student council spirit events, Massey students don the Massey Purple and fill the gym cheering with school and community energy.  Our entire student body looks forward to the annual tradition all year. This year, we hope to reconnect with alumni as well as the community to create an event which honors the past and celebrates our future. 

The tournament will take place on October 7th & 8th, 2022. This year the event is being held at the Vincent Massey gym and the four courts at the Healthy Living Centre. It's going to be a full event with 30 teams participating in the tournament, 20 girls teams and 10 boys teams. Teams are travelling from all over Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
