Rail Safety Week (September 23-29, 2024)

September 23-29, 2024, is recognized as “Rail Safety Week” across Canada.  Every year the Canadian Pacific Kansas City Police Service (CPKC) Police Service partners with Operation Lifesaver, educational institutions, and community groups to highlight safe practices around railway property.  

Join Operation Lifesaver and our partners across Canada in marking the 21st annual Rail Safety Week. This annual event raises critical awareness about rail safety. It reminds Canadians that taking risks near tracks can change your life forever or cost you life and limb.
