Announcements

• Just a reminder that hats/toques/hoods are not to be worn in the school. Backpacks and jackets are to be kept in your locker and lockers are to be locked at all times!
• Reminder that we are a scent free school. Please refrain from using perfumes, colognes, or other highly scented products. 
• Reminder as well about the cell phone policy in place at Neelin.  No cell phones are to be seen or used by any student during instructional time (either in the classroom or in the halls), unless authorized by a teacher for educational purposes. Cell phones are allowed during class transitions, lunch, spares, and before/after school.
• Please remember that our library is a quiet space for students to work that is a no-food zone. Please work quietly and do not eat in the library.
• Reminder when purchasing food from the canteen to please return the reusable plastic baskets!

Upcoming Events

• There’s a free, school-wide BBQ coming up on June 12 for all staff and students so come hungry! Sign up is required and is available in the Canteen until June 11.

Sports

• The Spartan Athletic Awards Night is coming up on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. Pizza, cake and refreshments at 6:30 p.m. followed by the awards ceremony starting at 7:00 p.m.

• Beading and Cooking Class on Wednesdays after school in the Suite with Ms. Moar
• YIP meeting Tuesdays at lunch in Room 33
• GSA meeting Fridays at lunch in Library

• Spartan Discount Cards are for sale now!  $20 each, please contact the school for more info, or stop in any time to grab one!

Canteen

Punch cards are available for $20 (cash or cheque). See Mrs. Meek in the front office or Mrs. Lair in the canteen if you would like to purchase one.
