2024 MSBA Student Citizenship Awards

Nominations are open for the Manitoba School Boards Association (MSBA) Student Citizenship Awards! 

Manitoba Students in Grades 9 to 12 are encouraged to apply online. The awards recognize students who demonstrate their commitment to the values of citizenship through activities such as:

• volunteer service to the community (i.e., newcomer programs, environmental programs/stewardship, youth groups, community service clubs, health or childcare, senior citizen groups etc.) 
• involvement in citizenship or character-building organizations 
• participation in student government programs or activities 
• leadership ability to motivate others to action to benefit the community

Students in Grades 9-12 are encouraged to apply online or complete the MSBA Awards Nomination Package and return to: Jennifer Esau (jesau@mbschoolboards.ca) 

Deadline for nominations is Friday, April 5, 2024, at 4:30 pm. All nominees will be notified of the results by Friday, May 3, 2024.
