2. Convocation Ceremony

Wednesday, June 23, 2026

Assiniboine Credit Union Place (Keystone Centre)

1:00pm - 4:00pm

3. Grad Requirements (Mrs. Rybuck and Mrs. Cook Hunter)

30 credits (regular diploma)

8 credits (mature diploma)

No complacency - get your credits this semester (classes for semester 2 may already be full)

4. Honour Roll - Average of 85% or higher

Academic Honour Roll - 6 Grade 12 academic courses (including ELA and Math)

Vocational Honour Roll - 8 course credits from the vocation (12 for hair)

One honour - stole

Both honours - stole and cord

5. Graduation Applications

Each potential graduate will receive an application at the December grad meeting.  It will also be available at the front office and CP website in December.  The application must be FULLY completed to be accepted.  Please submit to Ms. Jen Penman in the main office.

Grad fee is $85 - payable online via SchoolCash (covers cap and gown rentals, venue rental, programs, sound system, etc.)

Students who do not attend the convocation ceremony will not be charged, but must submit a grad application with the required information. (Mark "not attending" on the application form). Fees will be reimbursed in full to non grads, prior to May 1.

9. Cap & Gown

Cap & Gown will be available approximately one week before grad to pick up

Gown to be returned

Keep cap - can be decorated (school appropriate)

**Cap & gown available to sign out at library for picture purposes (all year long)

10. Slide Show Photos

Please submit a baby photo for the slide show to Mrs. Planetta

11. Scholarship Information (Mrs. Paula Planetta)

14. Grads Turning 18

Once a student turns 18, parents are automatically removed from all notifications (Powerschool, communication from teachers, parent messenger, etc.).  The student must sign a form allowing parents/guardians to have access

15. Parent Meeting

Tuesday, October 9th at 6:00pm - CP Cafeteria

16. Safe Grad

Safe Grad is independent from the school.  Parents can form a safe grad committee.  School will be able to help share some information.  

There will be a Safe Grad Seminar on Saturday, November 15 (9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) at the Victoria Inn & Convention Centre, Winnipeg
