Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week (February 9-15, 2025)

The week of February 9-15, 2025, has been proclaimed as "Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week" by the Honourable Tracy Schmidt, Acting Minister of Education and Early Childhood Learning. 

Teachers and staff work to create safe and inclusive learning environments, where every student has a voice and feels safe and supported; 

The hard work and dedication of teachers and staff to fostering learners’ curiosity and critical thinking skills, helps to prepare Manitoba learners to be active and responsive in their communities and to provide new solutions to complex economic, social, and environmental problems; 

The leadership and kindness modeled daily by teachers and staff help to build learners’ capacity to understand and engage with diverse perspectives, act on issues of global significance, and contribute to a more equitable, compassionate and sustainable world.
