Expo-Science / Science Fair

Dear Parents and Future Scientists, 

This year, as has been the case in the past, students at New Era School are welcome to submit Science Fair projects for the New Era Science Fair on Friday, March 3rd. Completing a Science Fair project will help students put into practice some of the Science and Math that they have learned. Also, a Science project will help students learn much more about a subject that is interesting to them. Students will also have an opportunity to share their new discoveries with their school community. Participation and preparation for the Science Fair will develop several valuable skills. In addition to learning more about Science, students will also learn more about the use of the library and internet and refine their research skills. Students will also develop skills in Art and perhaps photography as they prepare their display. Students may discover an interest that can keep them actively in pursuit of knowledge well beyond high school. Most importantly, students have a chance to decide what they want to learn and apply their knowledge.
