CPRSS Receives $5,000 from CWB Welding Foundation "Forged By Youth" Award

The CWB Welding Foundation announces the three Canadian secondary school recipients that received $30,000 collectively from the new ‘Forged by Youth’ (FBY) award. Among them is Crocus Plains Regional Secondary School, Brandon, Man., receiving $5,000 taking third place.

“The FBY Award celebrates the creativity and effort involved in secondary school welding projects,” said Susan Crowley, Executive Director, CWB Welding Foundation. “In continued support of secondary school welding facilities, the Foundation is proud to announce the inaugural 2021 Forged by Youth Award winners that recognizes outstanding class projects with a financial award for each winning school’s welding program.”
