Ride Ready Pass Program (Brandon Transit)

With funding provided by the provincial government, the City of Brandon and Brandon School Division are partnering to launch the Ride Ready Pass Program in September 2026, to provide free public transit for eligible youth ages 7–17 (and registered high school students up to age 21). The program is designed to help young people travel safely and independently to school, work, and other activities.

To make it easier for Brandon School Division students to participate, schools will assist with distributing Ride Ready Passes during September and October 2026.

Please take a moment to review the Ride Ready Pass Program Guide – FAQ, which provides additional information about the program, eligibility, how the pass works, and answers to frequently asked questions.

If you would like your child to participate in the Ride Ready Pass Program, please provide your consent by either: 

• Completing the online consent form at Ride Ready Pass Program - Parent/Guardian Consent Form; or 
• Printing, completing, and returning the Ride Ready Transit Pass - Consent Form to your child’s school in September. 

Your consent is required for Brandon School Division to:

• Share your child's name, school, and grade with the City of Brandon Transit Service for the sole purpose of issuing the Ride Ready Pass. 

Participation in the program is voluntary. Students who do not participate may still use Brandon Transit by paying the applicable transit fare. If you have any questions about the Ride Ready Pass Program, please contact Brandon Transit at 204-729-2300.

Please submit your online form or return the completed paper form to your child’s school as soon as possible.
