Blessing of the Land at Green Acres School

It was an exciting day at Green Acres School!  On Wednesday, September 15^th, Frank Tacan from the Brandon Friendship Center came and “Blessed the Land” for our Tipi Tour Legacy Project.  Thank you Frank for sharing your wisdom with us today. 

Joining us for the Blessing was Chris Griffin from Alternative Landscaping.  Thank you Chris for designing and sending your crew over to create the beautiful space for the Tipi.  Also joining us was Mrs. Wright, Mrs. Bowslaugh and Mrs. Ross.  Thank you for guiding, creating, and helping our students generate ideas for the Tipi.  Mr. Czerkawski was also present and thank you for keeping the space clean and watering the plants.  I would also like to thank Terri Curtis for videoing the Blessing so our Green Acres Community could see the ceremony.  

Our next step is to add the plaques with the words chosen by the students, staff, and community and host a celebration for the “Tipi Tour Legacy Project”.
