World Creativity & Innovation Day is recognized on April 21, 2025, to raise awareness of the role of creativity and innovation in all aspects of human development. 

As the world continues to evolve rapidly, creativity in the classroom has become essential for preparing students to think critically, adapt to new situations, and develop innovative solutions. By nurturing creativity, schools can help shape the next generation of problem-solvers, leaders, and changemakers.

There may be no universal understanding of creativity. The concept is open to interpretation from artistic expression to problem-solving in the context of economic, social and sustainable development.
