A few notes to share with you about grad:
#1 - Guests: Grads can now bring up to 6 guests wit the new Manitoba Phase 3 plan. If you wish to increase your guest list please simply bring an updated guest list with you to grad. See attached form. This only needs to be completed if you are increasing the number of guests as all grads have already completed the form with their 4 guest list.
#2 - Time: All grads and guests must arrive 20 minutes prior to scheduled grad times. *note changed from 15 minutes
#3 - Clothing: Reminder that grads must arrive wearing their caps & tassels and grad gowns overtop of their formal wear (dresses/suits) or casual wear. There will not be any places to change clothes.
#4 - Check-In Tent: Upon arrival all grads must proceed to the Check-In tent which will be set up near the Southwest doors by the student parking lot.
#5 - Live Stream: Family and friends from anywhere in the world can watch you graduate this year through WCGtv. The link is wcgtv.ca/watch-live
#6 - Grad Candid Photos: We still need more of your candid photos from your past four years at Crocus Plains. We need these today to complete your grad videl! Please send any school appropriate photos of you and/or your fellow graduates to Grad 2020 students folder or email them to email@example.com
*Please note there will be very limited bathroom facilities and guests will be required to stand for the duration of graduation.

Important CP Graduation Details
Date & Location:
Friday, June 26, 2020 at Crocus Plains Regional Secondary
Grads and their guests are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to their Graduation Time.
Grads should plan to be on-site for 30 to 40 minutes.
Grads will have opportunity to choose their individual Graduation Times on a "first-come, first-serve basis".
Times will be throughout the day between 9:30 am and 5 pm (lunch break from 12:30-1:30).
Times are scheduled approximately two minutes apart to allow for social distancing.
Starting Thursday, June 4 at 9:00 a.m., all grads need to sign-up online for their own specific
time (one grad per time slot).

Grads are limited to a maximum of 4 family members.
All attendees must follow provincial health guidelines and stay home if displaying any symptoms of COVID-19.
Guests arriving from outside of Manitoba must self-isolate for 14 days prior to June 26 grad day.
Westman Communications Group has volunteered to live-stream our graduation ceremony.
Family and friends unable to attend can tune in to WCGtv on their televisions or computer at home. Watch the entire day or just when your favourite grads are scheduled to cross the stage!
"Grad Gown In…….Formal Dress Out"
Arrive wearing your graduation gown and cap with tassel.
Underneath your gown wear something special (graduation dress, suit, or your favourite outfit).
There will NOT be an opportunity to change at the school and you will be removing your grad gown to hand it back in on site, so plan accordingly!
Parking & Entrance:
Please park in the student parking lot on the west side.
Grads and guests will enter through the Southwest student doors.
Are very limited and for emergency use only please.
Graduates receiving scholarships or student recognition awards will have these announced when they cross the stage.
Scholarships will be included in their graduation package they will receive at grad.
Graduates meeting honour roll criteria will receive their honour stole when they pick up grad gown.
Honour roll recognition will be announced when students cross the stage to receive their diploma.
Graduation fees have been waived.
Any students who paid fees will receive a refund of $40.
Cheques will be included in the graduation packages distributed at grad convocation on June 26 (after grad gown has been returned).

Graduates who have suggestions for songs to be played on the grad video and other times on grad day are asked to send their requests to Mrs. Adams firstname.lastname@example.org
Graduates who have creative ideas and want to share them with our decorating team are asked to contact Mrs. McColl at email@example.com
A keepsake video will be created for free for all graduates.
Will include each student’s grad photo, grad statement, student recognition awards, scholarships recipients, valedictorian address and principal’s statement.
Students may upload photos of grads participating in school activities to the shared folder on their BSD accounts Grad 2020 students folder for Mr. Van Der Walt to add into the video.
Any graduates or parents who wish to plan and coordinate any further ideas into the grad video (eg. formal pictures, baby pictures, tributes, etc) are asked to contact Mrs. Adams firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss further.
The video will be made available to graduates through a link available on or after June 26.
Grad Banquet & Safe Grad:
There will be no formal banquet or safe grad celebration this year.
Families are encouraged to plan their own independent grad meals and celebrations at their own residences or local restaurants.
Parents interested in the possibility of a future safe grad event can stay connected through the Crocus Plains 2020 Safe Grad Committee on Facebook.
Grad Gown Pick Up:
Graduates who are participating in the graduation convocation are asked to pick-up grad gowns following this schedule:
All library materials must be returned before picking up grad gown. PLEASE
Graduates not participating in the convocation may sign-out a grad gown for pictures if desired.
All graduates will receive a grad cap and tassel to keep.

Grad Gown Return:
All grad gowns must be returned following the grad receiving their diplomas
if not attending ceremony gowns must be returned to the school prior to June 26
Opt Out Option:
Any graduates who prefer to not attend the CP graduation ceremony as planned on June 26 are asked to contact Mrs. Adams firstname.lastname@example.org or their case managers.
An individual alternative plan will be made which could include a school pick-up, mailing out or home delivery of diploma, cap & tassel on an alternative day.
