Mission

Emphasis on the prevention of harm from the rise of drugs and alcohol through students' choice of positive lifestyles. This is being accomplished through education, life-style wellness activities, community outreach and charitable humanitarian endeavors.​

Who?

  • It is a group of students from grade 5 to grade 12


What?

  • Create and organize programs/activities/events to promote healthy lifestyle choices among children and youth
  • Create and organize programs/activities/events to reduce the use of drugs and alcohol among children and youth


Where?

  • In 19 schools from the Brandon School Division


When?

  • During student's free time


Ojectives

  • Become positive leaders in the schools and the community
  • Help and inspire others
  • Develop positive relationships in the schools and the community
  • Educate and mobilize the community
  • Generate solutions that will engage more children and youth
  • Increase safety in the schools and reduce violence in the community

  • April 17, 2012 - 2011-2012 Premier's Volunteer Service Award
  • September 10, 2012 - Acknowledgement from Brandon Suicide Prevention Implementation Network for inspiring others in making healthy life choices
  • September 28, 2012 - Certificate of recognition for excellent BNRC project implementation by youth - "Better High Parent Forum"
  • May 1, 2013 - Reh-Fit Healthy Living Centre Award
