Winter Weather Information

Now that the weather is turning chilly and the snow is falling, we would like to remind our parents, students and staff of a few safety tips during the winter months:

Dress appropriately for the weather - extra layers for your legs, feet and hands;
Always wear proper winter attire when playing outside;
Remove wet clothing immediately and change to dry clothes as soon as possible;
Teach children not to play around snowplow areas;
Teach children never to touch or lick exposed metal (fences, flagpoles, etc.) in winter;
Do not allow children to dig snow tunnels or forts as they may collapse.
