Brandon School Division recognizes student‐athletes from each our three high schools for demonstrating outstanding character and leadership in athletics and community involvement. Each month, one student from each of our high schools is selected as a Featured Brandon School Division Athlete.
Please join us in recognizing the following students:
Crocus Plains Regional Secondary School
Crocus Plains Regional Secondary School is pleased to name Grade 11 student, Vanya Sloane, as their High School Featured Athlete.
Vanya has helped to lead the Crocus Plains boys' soccer team to a 5th consecutive city championship and second place finish in the Challenge Cup in Kenora. Since joining the team last year, Vanya has been an important player for the team, improving each time on the pitch. Vanya also finds time to play on the Crocus Plains varsity boys' basketball team.
Coach's Quote: "Vanya always gives a full effort whenever he is on the field. Eager to grow as a player, he is an extremely coachable athlete. He is a great decision maker who will always put the needs of the team first."
